Through generous friends, family and Donors Choose, the library media center has been funded for play-doh. Children listen to an alphabet read aloud and learn their letters. The Pre K and kindergarten students each say their names and tell their classmates what letter their names start with. Then children are able to go to their seats and use play-doh to make the letters of their names. Scholars shape, twist and configure the play-doh. Hands on learning makes school fun and ensures that children will have better recall since they did something that was not rote memorization.
